MY BIRD FEEDER
I chose the bird feeder challenge to do yesterday. My mum, my dad and my brother all helped me do this challenge.
When we created the bird feeder we made it out of a recycled plastic container. Then my dad cut it with a cardboard box cutter and put four holes in the cut container for the string. While dad was cutting the container mum was getting the food ready for the birds. We used apples, grapes, seeds and oats. Then we went outside, my mum got the step ladder so we could reach where we were going to put it. Now my dad held it up and put the string through all four holes and hung it on the tree. I put most of the food in the container and my brother put some in as well.Then we left it there and came inside for one or two hours. We finally saw the first bird eating from the bird feeder so we had to go very very quietly and quickly to take a photo.
The part that I enjoyed seeing was when the birds kept sitting on the bird feeder. The challenge that I went through with the bird feeder was when they kept going straight past it and we thought they might not like it.
